Sunday funk

After my fatigued writing early this morning, a song came to mind which unfortunately I cannot post, but this one comes in a close second.
This is a song by yet another Canadian band, from the 90s this time... I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert shortly before they disbanded. I can't remember what year I saw them or much else for that matter... but I do know that it was at Edgefest...  and who I went with and that I had a hamburger afterwards. That's just the way my memory works.

Sundays used to be my worst days...I hated them. Part of the reason was I worked third shift for a long time. S you waited around all day (of course I was unable to sleep) just to have to go to work that night.

It's better today but I still don't really like them very much....

Read your post this morning and like you with some of my posts I'm reluctant to share what I was thinking. Perhaps I still will...

Sunday seems to be "get stuff done around the house" day. Then if I don't get stuff done, Monday ends up in the crapper.

Forgot to say... just write. It's like therapy, but doesn't cost anything.

Haven't heard I Mother Earth in a long while... had their first two discs.

Sunday ends up being my official "Drool On Yourself Day". Not that I don't do it other days...

I hadn't listened to them in ages... and I think I only have two of their CDs. The "vibe" and lyrics from "Another Sunday" and this song suited my Sunday funk quite well.

"Drool on Yourself Day"... heh. But.. only AFTER you get all your chores done.
