I always hate seeing power lines running through the woods. Well, unless I'm hunting... deer love to hang in the vicinity of them for some reason.

You should see what they've done to our beautiful highland mountains over here, power cables, phone masts, etc you name it they've done it.

I'd love to see the highlands, but I could do without the powerlines and whatnot.
I guess I'm the only one who likes man-made objects. The tell-tale signs of civilization. Warmth, comfort, keeping the wolves and cold weather at bay.
Man has been fighting nature for millenia. I feel nothing but gratitude for the signs that we're winning.
Harvey, from what I have read thus far on your blog, it would appear that your liking of man-made objects only goes so far?
