Swirls and waves...

The texture of shadow and light...
found in white cotton...
... and Iceberg Rose petals outside.

Heard tale the Moody Blues's working title for their hit was "Nights in White Cotton," but Fruit of the Loom lodged a complaint.

Beyond the veining of the fabric and petals, I'm not seeing how your pics tie into your title.

Where be swirls? Waves? Sugar'd micro-donuts and fairway Christmases?

Snorfle.

Cotton... not quite the same appeal as satin, but I'd take a high thread count cotton over satin any day.

Glad you asked. Other than the subtext to which I was not referring, I see soft serve ice cream swirls and ocean waves in both.
