A Troll?


Ah... I don't know, but troll seemed right. He is now set in stone... so to speak. His beginning can be seen here.

Thanks for that. I had to look it up. I "used to be" an avid sci-fi/ fantasy reader when I was much younger, but I don't think I ever read anything by that author.(Granted I do have a big box of unread books of the genre sitting in my attic.) It appears that he had an amazing life (military?) and prolific writing career.

Oh... and I said "A Troll?" (question mark) for a couple reasons.

Regardless of the subject, the sculptor did a really good job - wold love to have that in my study or on the lawn.

Nothing worse than having statuary of heroes in heroic poses doing heroic things, that fit on a lamp stamp.

Unless it's the Laocoon. I'm not a fan of snakes.
