Inside looking out...

Random shot out the car window last year.

How many times in my life have I been staring out a window catching a fleeting glimpse of the world go by? How many times have I watched the last remnants of the sun fade behind the mountains?  How many times have I been down the same road going nowhere? How long have I been on the inside looking out?

How many times has happiness touched my soul?

I've always wondered if "nowhere" actually has to be counted as "somewhere"?

I love the pic...

Hmm... This is the comment that had disappeared along with mine the day blogger failed. It is now back, but I cannot remember what my reply was.

I think for most people "nowhere" would be considered "somewhere", either mentally, emotionally, physically, developmentally, on some personal level, however in my case for twenty plus years, I was stuck in a quagmire... or a stagnant pool, truly "going nowhere". Complacency has a way of doing that.
