Cheese and serial killers...

Just before Christmas, I was talking with a friend of mine who I've probably known since Grade 3. I asked him what his plans were and he said that the family was getting together at his mom and dad's for dinner. It turns out that his little sister married some dude she met online who was originally from Wisconsin. Of course what came up was, "What's with Wisconsin?"... To borrow from another conversation, I said... "cheese and serial killers"... to which he added "and Harleys". I did not know that. Anyways...  just goes to show that love can be found in the strangest places. I've posted this song before, but it just seemed right for this thought and the sentiment on this particular day.

Not sure where the serial killers came from, I can only think of one Jeffery Dammer. But other then the Harley's you missed the most important (2) things that come from Wisconsin: Beer and Bratwurst!

Ah... it was a blogger from Wisconsin who mentioned the serial killer bit. I actually didn't know that Dahmer was from that state. And yes... beer. I think I knew that too, but not the Bratwurst. Great combo though, cheese, beer and sausage, except I'd probably skip the beer.

Thormoo - our other problem-child was Ed Gein.

By the way, Wisconsin is also known for cows and the Green Bay Packers.

Yep, I remember the Green Bay Packers from when I was a kid and my dad used to watch football. Also "Laverne and Shirley"? I seem to remember Milwaukee?
