This one reminds me of a video that was posted in a comment here.
I don't believe there has ever been this much snow this low on this mountain this late in the year. I posted a photo of it back in February here. If it ever warms up for more than two days in a row and then decides to rain as it usually does, we'll be in for some major mud slides.

Don't get me wrong, I love living where I do on the water but there are times I really want to live in the mountains, instead of just visiting the periodically...

I like looking at the mountains, but don't think I would like to live IN them. Growing up here I was more fond of being near water. Two rivers within a stone's throw and three lakes a fairly short drive away. However, thankfully it is not in an undeveloped, backwoods location.
Yea I really meant in them..I spent several months out west years ago, I really miss that. Oh well, I got over it!
Had that stupid song stuck in my grape all day, yesterday. That, and Raining Blood.
"Big Rock Bloody Mountain"

Heh... When I think of someone living IN the mountains, I think of great big hairy, bearded and unwashed.

You worry me. And... figures it would be Slayer. The juxtaposition of the two songs just... what can I say... you are one strange puppy.
